My 2nd MRI experience..

Had an MRI done for my ankle today.. I realised that a lot of things have improved in the technology...

For a starter, I could wear my normal clothings in! Even with the metal button and zips on my shirt and jeans, it was no problem! I could even keep my socks on.. Just that I was warned not to bring my credit cards etc. in if not they'll be de-magnetised. That is, understandable.. Well, about 5 yrs ago when I got another MRI done for my knee, I had to change into the gown provided.. I don't know if the difference is that now it's for my ankle and that was for my knee.. But I reckon times have changed and so have technology..

Everything was done very fast. I think the procedure itself took only 15mins.. I think the last time it took almost half an hour.. And I remember there was this thing spinning inside the machine.. This time there wasn't. But then again, it maybe down to the different parts of the body being investigated that made the difference.. Next on, physio on Monday. And thereafter would be revelation of the results on 23 May.. Can't wait.

Found out that my Guards Conversion Course will be starting from 12 June. Lasting about a month. I really really hope to go for it.. But I'm equally worried my ankle can't take the rigours of things like fast march and all those things. And mind you, failing one of the three core factors (ie. 12km fast march, heli rapel and coastal swim) would mean failing the course.. Just hope my ankle don't fail me one last time. Then again, I'd see what my doc has to say come 23 May..

Gotta book in later. Sucks man. Don't know what nonsense Commander lesson tml morning in camp... Sigh. Spoil my weekend only. And cycling with the Gang is off. Bohoo!! Jo, come back we go cycle alright?! After my GCC, that is.. =)
