Ah Long Pte Ltd

Interesting that this film is named after my nick name. Haha. But whatever it is named, a film by Jack Neo would not be missed by my family. The show was average when first viewed, the content was alright, entertainment value was as usual-high. But my mom made a discovery about the plot, though she only told us after the show, it still made the movie all the more entertaining and darn.. It's good!! Haha.. Brilliant. (For those politically aware dudes.)

For those who've watched, see this trailer again to find out what you've missed in the local theatres. Darn good jokes. =) I'll tell about the plot when the show's running end. Less I spoil someone's fun. =p

Year of Rat

Ok, the CNY came, and is on its way out, very very fast.. I was complaining about the lack of build up to the festival, and now, it's almost over, with 8 days gone and most people not going on any more visiting and stuff.

It's still good as any other year to see my extended family gathered and having a good time eating, chatting and of course, playing cards together.. Wonderful..

The new year passed by peacefully, at least for the stand-by part. No call ups or mobilization. Good... It's also ironic that I've already been briefed about my NS unit, when I'm still pretty much in the frame of action of my current active unit. Oh well..

Life in unit is pretty much hectic. Really can't wait for the new team of sergeants to come and take over my team.. Really. Anyway, I have 2 more weeks left to endure, in a way.. 3 March is the scope op on my right ankle..

HAPPY NEW YEAR and HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY too all my friends. Cheers to our friendship on this special day!
