Piggy Year!

Anyway, my course has ended! Yay! Like finally!!!! I'm gonna be a trainee-no-more! I'm so glad. And for it to coincide with CNY make it a double happiness for me. Wohoo, wonderful..

The last week was the summary exercise, grand finale. Hardcore man, din sleep for 2 days. Nearly died, and the dying process was sped up by the scorching sun. One of my section mate KO and was taken to medical centre, this only made things worse cos we had one man less now. The first night was spent digging a shell scrape, or better known as the soldier's grave. The site given to me was fubar, it was full of rocks. With each swing of the entrenching tool, sparks fly. By the end of the night, I guess the NDP fireworks pale in comparison. Ha. But it was really that bad, so much so that the buddy digging beside me keep wanting to give up.. But I guess the digging part was to shag you out and the real test comes on the 2nd day onwards.

I was made a Section 2IC. These few weeks, I kenna arrowed to be appt holder for a number of times liao leh. THink I talk too much cock with the Sgt Felix after our guard duty experience. Haha. But nonetheless good experience also, force me to learn, if not I also heck care one. Haha.. The night seem to crawl slowly, with seemingly endless tasks to accomplish. Our mission started from around 6pm, with river crossing on a speedboat, fun stuff. But hafta wear life jacket, for myself and the stupid comms set (haha).. Er, but well, after that was work all the way (of course got rest while waiting here and there la) till the sun rose again. It felt really good when the last task was accomplished. It wasn't just the end of the task, it was the end (somewhat) of the exercise, the course and the trainee life!!!!!!!! Wehaaaa...

As you can see, I'm excited. Heh, the day after the exercise was live mine arming. But that was not before we all konked out in bunk on Wed night (V-Day). Everyone in my bunk slept by 9pm. Sheer tiredness. I slept and the next thing I knew was morning already. Haha..

I just wanna enjoy my New Year for now. Time to see my family members again.. Small aunt wished me luck in finding a good partner, for her to see, again. Same thing as last year. Haha.. I'll try I'll try.. Hopefully this time next year you won't be disappointed. =p

Posting will be out after we go back to camp on Friday. Hoping for the best.. Please dun get too active a unit. Please.. My ankle's gonna give way liao... Haiz...
