Kallang Roar!!!

Roar is the word. Kallang shook last night not cos of S.H.E's concert at the indoor stadium, but by their neighbours in the stadium. I wonder if SHE could hear our voices across the road. 55,000 people joined their voices to cheer Singapore on. I was one of them!

It's really a wonderful night of great atmosphere as we cheered, jeered and scolded vulgarities together. The Kallang Wave was seen at its fullest strength too. It was just so wonderful, reliving memories of 2 yrs ago during the Tiger Cup final and of course, the M-cup heydays. All this, and throw in the factor that our opponents was none other than - Malaysia.. Imagine the jest each of us had in us. I think the reports of the supporters being the 12th man was not an exaggeration, we really cheered our hearts out. To be at the stadium, it was more of enjoying the atmosphere, rather than the match that mattered. Of course, Singapore produced a above average performance to keep us cheering. And to chase back the game after going down to a sucker of a goal made the team, and the supporters even more fiery. It was funny to see the Malaysians dumbfounded. They've been making loads of noise after they took the lead while Singaporeans watched on in silence, unable to digest that our best player in Lionel Lewis let in such a soft goal.

And seriously words aren't enough to describe, you should feel it by being there and you'd know what I mean. So take my seat on Wednesday, I can't be there, but you can.

Fuck, I'll be stuck in the middle of an exercise on Wednesday, somewhere in the wilderness of Singapore. Argh... I've seen my last football match in Kallang. Pleh...
